Vision Care was established in 1990 and today, is the flagship company of VC Capital (Pvt) Ltd, which is the holding company of the Vision Care Group. Within a short period of fifteen years we have grown to be the largest optical business in Sri Lanka and we are proud to say that we are able to provide total eye care solutions to customers of any income group.
We started our business operations in a small way at No: 49, Norris Canal Road, Colombo 10, with only two people. |

Today our Corporate Office and state-of-the-art showroom is located at No:06, Ward Place, Colombo 07, with branches at Sulaiman Place, Kurunegala, Ja-Ela, Wennappuwa, Ratnapura, Norris Clinic, Crescat, Central Hospital, Galle, Grand Hotel Nuwaraeliya, Nuwara Eliya Town, Jaffna, CHC Centre Colombo, Bandarawela, Anuradhapura, K-Zone, Kandy, Batticaloa & Trinco. We will be opening branch in Vaveniya shortly.
One of the unique features’ of our business is that we carry out specialized eye tests at our own premises. This is the only optical business in Asia that satisfies every eye-care need of the customer under one roof. The in-house eye care pharmacy is a value added service for all our walk-in customers.
Today we have a team in excess of two hundred people, which include qualified Ophthalmic Technologists, Optometrists and well trained Sales Personnel who can satisfy any need of the customer. The team is headed by a General Manager and three experienced Managers who have been in the optical business for over fifteen years. Other support functions include: Information Technology, Human Resources, Training & Development, Finance, Pharmaceuticals and Front Office. |
